Palmeraie de Tafilalet

The Tafilalet Palm Grove, located around the city of Er-Rissani, is one of Morocco's largest and oldest oases. Stretching across several dozen kilometers along the Ziz Valley, it is a green lung of southeastern Morocco. Home to hundreds of thousands of date palms, the grove thrives thanks to a traditional irrigation system known as foggara.
